A highly experienced and dedicated professional, Catherine Debackere has joined Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty as a Sales Manager of the Shelter Island Heights office and as a Gold Circle Sales Broker in the Hamptons and Shelter Island.

Catherine began at Sotheby's International Realty's, East Hampton office in 2007,after ten years in New York City as a top producing real estate agent with premier agencies, Stribling and Halstead. Notably, a developer's representative for several condominium projects in Lower Manhattan that achieved record breaking sales. A licensed broker since 1996, Catherine has earned a solid reputation for full-service, results-driven success to managing a wide scope of real estate transactions.

With a keen instinct on the market pulse, Catherine creates engagement for her real estate practice by using a multi-tiered marketing strategy optimizing traditional and online/social media outlets to drive business goals. She is co-founder of an ever-expanding global Sotheby's International Realty networking group that meets regularly to share new business opportunities, showcase properties and produce a bi-annual portfolio to connect discerning buyers with distinctive properties. The network's close connection with the NYC market and buyers seeking second homes in the Hamptons and Shelter Island.

Catherine's network is also connected to the art world. She implemented the first on-site Sotheby's Real Estate Property Showcase at internationally acclaimed Art Hamptons, a three-day annual event attracting over 14,000 art collectors, dealers, celebrities and visitors. While a Manhattan resident, Catherine was instrumental in the opening of the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. Catherine continues to build lifelong relationships in the art world.

An East End resident since 2004, Catherine and her family are active community participants.
